Alex Knight is the current assistant coach for UCLA Men’s Volleyball, the most decorated program in NCAA history with 21 national titles. Out of high school, Alex was the Volleyball Magazine’s National Player of the Year making him the nations #1 recruit. He was a four-year starter at outside hitter and a one year starter at libero under coach John Speraw playing in 109 matches. He was the team captain for three seasons. Alex, earned the NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player in 2023, All-American honors, and won two NCAA Championships with the Bruins.
Alex excelled in the classroom being named to the UCLA Athletic Honor Roll six times and earning MPSF All Academic Honors.
He has represented Team USA as a men’s national team and youth national team player around the world. He was the top US attacker at the U19 World Championships in Tunisia. Alex played professionally in the German Bundesliga excelling in the German Cup finals against Berlin.
