Ocean Point Volleyball Club launches with a mission to grow the game, develop champions in sport, and bring joy to kids and families in the Santa Monica Bay.
Ocean Point Volleyball Club officially launches its boys’ volleyball program and a new club has entered the Southern California volleyball scene. Built by a team of passionate and well-accomplished coaches with strong academic pedigrees, Ocean Point enters the landscape with clear goals: to develop great players to succeed, impact lives on and off the court, and give back to the game that gave OP coaches the chance to achieve lifelong goals.
The club is founded on a commitment to grow the game, provide exceptional training and coaching, foster relationships, compete with joy, and cultivate a culture rooted in strong community, positive leadership, and service. With a decade of inspiration and learning drawn from elite programs like Bay to Bay, MVVC, Coast, Wave, Rockstar, SCVC, MB Surf, Pulse, Legacy, Balboa Bay, and others, the Ocean Point team is proud to join a tradition of excellence while adding their own energy and vision.
Ocean Point’s staff is made up of coaches who have spent the last decade in gyms and on courts across the country and the globe. Many have won collegiate national titles, played internationally for their country, and played professionally. These coaches have risen through the grind—early mornings, heavy travel, tough losses, big wins—and emerged as mentors who know what it takes to compete and win at the highest level. More importantly, they understand the transformative power of volleyball. Their journey has shaped them into people of resilience, humility, and joy— ready to pour back into the lives of players and families.
In addition to skill development, elite training, and the goal of winning championships, Ocean Point is committed to serving the Santa Monica Bay community from Palos Verdes to Point Dume. The club views volleyball as a platform for rebuilding and has a particular interest in being part of the restoration taking place in areas like Pacific Palisades, as well as being a powerful vehicle for doing good in the larger community and world.
